Our Tragic Tale

When we started out in the Bronx in 1945, our first group of people working were street urchins. Some of them were only 5 years old, and we would pay them in cigarettes and whiskey. It was run by our grandfather, who was only 15 at the time and still owned multiple casinos and bars (after prohibition ended). He was a hard working man who stopped at nothing to increase perfection in the buisness (and also our debt). we were just a small buisness trying to make some money and cook up some fresh ideas for the cooking industry. Of course, this drew people towards us and of course, rumors arose. Some people will tell you that we were orignally a money laundering scheme (some even say we still are), but that's not the truth! Those individuals are lying to you, as we have always been a stand-up establishment. People always assume well-dressed Italians are in the mob. That's not true! It's a stereotype, and it's offensive! More recently in 1986, we started exploring the possiblities of having a food truck, and in 1990, we acquired our first one. We now have a fleet of food trucks as well as our main non-moving location.
